Dolomite is a naturally occurring product similar to lime. It differs because it contains much higher levels of Magnesium Carbonates, although the Calcium content still exceeds the Magnesium content.Dolomite is used instead of lime in situations where the Calcium: Magnesium ratios need correcting along with your pH.Dolomite has a neutralising value of 98% up to 110% depending where you source the product from, so it works just like lime.Dolomite has the same handling characteristics as lime, please refer to the section on lime for more details.
